brian1225,
Was that you we saw on Sunday July 30th pulling out of the gas station around 12pm? I think hollywood saw you too and was waving to you. We were on Wagner heading towards 405 South.

This is great. We can get a lot of mileage with iceman's 5.9.

I should go look for other Japanese and Korean cars that can match or beat 5.9. I'll be back with the cars...

Hey guys I just realized the RAV4 I just bought has the same engine as th IS350.No wonder I was able to record a 5.95 0-60 run.Maybe I can challenge iceman316 to a race with the RAV(just kidding).I also ran a 14.37 1/4 at 97 mph with the RAV.The RAV is heavier than the IS350 and also has all wheel drive which saps horsepower. My goal for the RAV is 5.5 0-60 andd 13.99 1/4 at 100 mph.I think this is possible in cool dry conditions.

Are you sure? It might be based off the same block but its not tuned the same... the RAV4 has the Camry engine... 269 hp and 246 TQ no? The IS 350 has a more advanced direct injection that inject the petro into the top of the cylindar heads for fuel economy... making 306 HP and 277 TQ.

So far, this is what I found:

1. Nissan Altima 3.5 SE -- 5.9 (Manual)
2. Dodge Neon SRT-4 -- 5.8
3. Volkswagen R32 -- 5.8
4.

Okay, I'm tired of looking. I can't find anymore.

Iceman316, it doesn't matter how fast you are as long as you arrive in style. Your car has a lot of style.....

I'm actually trying to convince myself of that too about my own car since you guys have basically killed my dream of having a sub 5 sec car.
