my 3rd week/ Jan2004 e60 is, on examination (lights on, in the dark) clearly a bulb...

the users guide (the physical copy that came with the car) discusses how to change bulbs - it states that the 'centre brake light uses LED technology'

i was alone so couldn't verify but will do so sometime

If you go to www.bmw.de you can configure a E60 and there you have all the actual colors available. I could not find any Copper... <_<

Rody,
You may be right. I may be confusing the brake force activation with LED, I will try to look closer.
Further pics of my new car on URL link. P.S. Exterior shots not too brilliant due to car being dirty and cannot wash due to freezing temperatures.
Mark-Yorkshire? ?
My E60 520
Thanks Mark....rayc and Skidster who have Sep. '03 and Jan. '04 production E60's in the UK respectively both say that their cars have regular light bulbs, not LED's. I would assume yours would be the same.

I like the color of your car (Titanium Gray). I am planing on special ordering Stratus Gray on my 545i, but I am 99% sure that BMW NA will deny my request. If they do deny it I will be ordering Titanium Gray. I also like the Titan trim inside your car, but unfortunately the 545i comes with wood only in the US, I will have to buy the Titan pieces and swap them out.

You're right. The reason I ask is that I read a post on this board a few weeks ago where someone in the UK mentioned that they had seen a Copper Metallic E60. This color is shown in the German and US E60 brochures and the German brochure says that it should be available in the first quarter of 2004. However, I can't find it on any of the car configurators in the various international BMW Websites.

Thanks,
rodybmw

I checked out the Brass color on the BMW Individual visualizer, but I'm pretty sure it's different than the Copper Metallic (color code: A06).

If you go to bmw.de as suggested and select individual the car pictured is clearly on 19' wheels - looks gorgeous. Can you spec 19' wheels with the individual programme???
