Get some day light shots in motion

 

That lip was painted off the car and installed right? It seems the paint reflects differently on the lip. It could be the angle of the lip but since I paint i have an eye for that kind of thing. Unless the paint is a perfect match (which you will NEVER get with a BMW since their color shades differ depending on the factory and what day it was made at that factory) one should install the piece and then prep and paint on the car and then re-clear the entire piece it is attached to.....which also means wet sanding and degreasing the entire bumper prior to paint. Car looks great tho! I have the same lip. So does the poster above the poster above me. LOL

 

Do you know where we can buy those wheels?
Would they fit an xDrive model?

@achtunge60: lol i was hoping nobody would notice, yeah the lip doesn't match, and it was taken off the car to be prepped and painted. the whole process you explained sounds pretty labor intensive and expensive, I don't think I would spend that much to get a lip color matched unless it was authentic. I'll be satisfied if it looked the way it did before I got it repainted, but I hit something on the freeway so I had to get it repainted, and unfortunately, it came out retarded good eye though lol

@ben535xi: not sure about JAZ wheels, but I do know that JAZ changed to Monarch wheels. maybe try giving them a call, but i'm pretty sure these wheels are discontinued. just get the real breyton spirits i'm sure they have them in xi offsets. or maybe drop weezy a message and see what he can do for you.
