Correct Wiring Diagram for Steering Column (SZL) X1880 to e-box X6031?
Last week, I finally scored a heated steering wheel with paddle shifters to complete the SAT retrofit for my e61 LCI wagon, but the wagons are missing the wiring from the SZL to the e-box.
I have searched forums and know exactly what it will take to get the paddles working, but I want this mod to be as close to OEM-perfect as possible (to the extent of obtaining proper connector pins and matching the wiring colors… because I’m like that).
The diagrams in the bmw-planet WDS apparently are not correct, and according to SIB 25 03 07 (Gear shift mechanism), as of Nov 2007 “The current version of the wiring schematic (both in DIS Diagnostic and Centernet TIS) does not provide a correct wiring diagram of the SZL (Steering Column Switch Center) with the paddle shifters option.”
So, does anyone have or know where I can find, an accurate wiring diagram showing the details of the steering column (SZL) connector x1880 to the e-box connector x6031 to transmission control connector x8500?
Thanks!

Why don't you think bmw-planet WDS is correct? Sometime you have to look for some time to make sure you are looking at the right revision. Also, have you checked the Bentley manual? There are wiring diagrams in there also.

Thanks for the prod to check the Bentley manual again. I had looked in mine last weekend, and I had not found what I wanted. But I just pulled the book out again, and ELE-244 is exactly what I needed. Thanks.
