Default Copy laser cut key in Long Island NY

Anyone know a place that will copy our laser cut keys in long island or queens NY NOT FOR $95? Seems a little ridiculous to pay that much just to cut a blade when I dont even need it programmed and I'm supplying the blank.

I think most modern locksmiths will be able to do this. $95 does seem high.

It should be cheaper from dealership. I recently ordered Comfort Access key and metal key that plugs in. The metal was around $50.

I assume you bought a blank uncut key. If it is a diamond shaped key, it's not going to start your car even if you do get it cut. I don't know about a CA key fob though. I remember there used to be a guy in NY that did it for $35. It was on this forum. Do some search.

My shell is chewed up and the fob stopped working bc of the battery. So I hacked the case open to get a new battery in, and I figure since its already in bad shape, why not replace the shell? I do have a blank blade, and I will be putting the transponder into the new shell. Soooo, with the new blade and the same transponder, it wont start the car??

Also, i have searched everywhere for about 3 days at this point, and have not came across such a guy. Could you give me a lead?
