Some after market company should design and market a better part out of a better grade plastic or billet. Knowing this flaw I would purchase it if it is a known problem.

Hey, Vlad! I saw this post back on Saturday and wanted to write smth nice to you back then, but my iPhone died as I was trying to post which kinda made me think about how many flaws and defects we all "put up" with in modern devices - BMWs have weak cooling systems, iPhones have the crappiest batteries (which you can't swap out either so you can't carry a spare), not too long ago Plasma TVs were super expensive and still burned in pixels if you watched the same channel long enough... I'm sure the list is pretty long for this, but the point I wanted to make is: all is well that ends well. So here's my wishes to you that your car is returned to you soon and in a perfect working order (at which point, I suspect, the forums would expect a nice photoshoot ).

Hang in there!

mine craked ( I think) on the bottom. Not sure if is a crack or the low coolant sensor seal (if is it possible). only a little water, but I have to jurry and change it because I'm afraid it can get worse. suiggestions?

I noticed I can find "wet" on the bottom only, near the corner towards the center of the car

You have to drain some the coolant to change the sensor out. Depending on the age and mileage of your car you might want to just replace the entire overflow tank. The tank doesn't cost that much ($50). The OEM for BMW is Behr. I replaced my overflow tank and changed out the coolant as well.

How do you drain some of the coolant out? I just bought a new expansion tank needing to swap it in and probably need to change the sensor o ring

Will these o rings fit?
