You need to:
1. Dump the spare tire. Another 30 lbs saving right there.
2. Minimize outwear for yourself. Save 3 lbs
3. Do not eat for at least 12 hours, and you need to dump all your intake . Save 3 lbs
4. Take rear seat cushion out. Save 10 lbs
5. Take spare tire, left and right trunk covers out. Save 10 lbs
===============================================
Another 56 lbs off your car
Anymore questions?
you forgot to end it with

Ya theres a 7 min or 7 miles cool down for the M5. so I'm sure its pretty similar for the regular SMGs...

P.S. I've already lost the spare and jack. those things have been in my garage for about a year now. I figured with RFT I wouldnt use my spare anyways... I would drive home... Unless its a road trip then I put the spare back in. Otherwise no need for spare...

Hi all.The weather has cooled down on the east coast so it's time for more testing.

I tried several runs this morning and had to learn my starting method all over again. It seems that I must modify my method several times during the year in order to get the best times.Today the best method was,DTC/DTS off, brake torque to 1200 rpm, release brake and push gas to floor. My best time is:
0-60........5.00
60'..........2.00
330'........5.72
1/8 time..8.72
1/8 spd...81.90
1/4 time..13.43
1'4 spd...104.70
0-100......11.55
Weather conditions as follows:
temp........56F
dew pt......43F
bar..........30.20
altitude....400'
humidity..63%
I am sure Zman will apply the proper correction factors when he has time .I am not sure if the factor will be a positve or negative number.I have a feeling it will be close to zero.

When are you west coasters going to do more testing?
Here they come g-man. Good luck.

Your density altitude:

Air Temp 56 (?F)
Altimeter Setting 30.2 (in)
Dew Point 43 (?F)
Altitude 400 (Feet)
Density Altitude 107 (feet)

Your pass results corrected to sea level:
Density Altitude 107 (feet)
Uncorrected ET 13.43 (sec)
Uncorrected MPH 104.7 (mph)
Corrected ET 13.415
Corrected MPH 104.82

Your pass results corrected to 500 feet:

E.T. 13.415 (sec)
Trap Speed 104.82 (mph)
Measured DA 0 (feet)
Corrected to 500(feet) DA
Corrected ET 13.486 (sec)
Corrected Trap Speed 104.26 (mph)
Corrected 0-60 (Znod's procedure) 5.056 (sec)

The corrections hurt you a tad, but still a very good pass. Way to go. I'll be getting out when the weather cools.

Man... those are good numbers for a 545. I swear some of you guys have a stronger 4.4L engine.

I'll be in LA this weekend. I'm going to try and round up the usual Socal suspects. Hopefully, a few can make it. My initial thoughts were to wait for some 335s to join us but it would seem that the Meet thread over in e90post is idle. http://e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28597
If you want to get some action via the forums, you'll have to post that in the general forum. On e90post, they won't even move the thread.

In an effort to get some 335s to come out, I made a thread on the general forum of e90post

http://e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t...p;highlight=545

Plenty of views, but there doesn't seem to be much interest. Maybe someone could chime in.
