I don,t think on the pre-lci's that the function is possible.
- 2006

You can store and request two different positions
for the driver's seat and passenger seat*,
external rearview mirrors, and steering wheel.
The adjustment of the lumbar support is not
stored in the memory.

As a workaround if you have seat memory, program the mirror angle into the other seat button.
Do you mean the other memory button on the driver's seat, i.e., #2 button if the #1 is the primary setting?

I just meant that the mirror is predominantly the DRIVERS mirror, not the passengers and that it seems like a safety issue if it could be set by anyone other than the driver!

The mirror memory is tied to the drivers seat buttons AFAIK. I usually don't ride shotgun in my car so I don't even know if the passenger side has seat memory.

Yup. Each key has two memory positions ... at least in the LCI. I use my #2 button to move the seat back on exit.

I have an 2004 530i pre LCI and I tried to save two settings with those buttons and it works like a charm...but both the mirrors move when you switch between those 2 settings ...

Thanks

You would have to adjust the seat and mirrors exactly how you want them, then save that to BOTH buttons. Then, adjust the passenger side mirror to be where you want it for parking, and then save again to #2. Then leave the mirror selector with the passenger side selected. You go to park, push the #2 button, and viola!

I can't believe I really had to explain this to someone... LOL

Come on your guys...

Get all your settings (seat, steering wheel, both outside mirrors etc.) right. Now set that as memory #1 on your (driver) seat. Now leave everything else same and just move the passenger side outside mirror to your comfortable back-up position and set as memory #2 on your seat. Done. Can't make it any more simpler to explain.

thanks

That is just what I had in mind and it has nothing to do with the shotgun seat or the buttons there on.

Except ... I have not tried it yet!

Shouldn't her settings be in the other key? I understand you can have 2 settings and so can she.
