Auto tilt of the passenger side mirror is awesome. But... Mine seems to angle itself waaaay far down so that I'm looking at the kerb around the door pillar rather than near the rear wheel.

Is there any way to adjust the angle that it changes to in reverse? 2004 545i.

Been a minor frustration of mine for years...

BMW should allow us to set the "tilted" location as part of the memory settings -- M-B does it, why not BMW?

As a workaround if you have seat memory, program the mirror angle into the other seat button.

I'm astounded that the car would allow for the Passenger to decide the positioning of a mirror that is used by the driver! Perhaps on a Hyundai Genesis, but on an E60??

actually, there are 2 memory buttons on the driver side seat, at least on the LCI e60's

I just meant that the mirror is predominantly the DRIVERS mirror, not the passengers and that it seems like a safety issue if it could be set by anyone other than the driver!

The LCI is the better E60.
