530i stock tires have great tread left on them, but are way out of round. Any others with this problem? Continental 225/50-17".

What would be your choice for a round, quiet replacement? Should BMW or Continental step up to the plate here?

Thanks,
Dan

I just had a road force balance performed on my 545i. The 545 has new Contitracs with the star ( which means they are test from BMW on BMWs.) What dissappointment to find two tires at 27 and 29 lbs of road force. That means that there were two spots pushing out at the poundage.

All I can suggest is find what is acceptable
, usually less than 20 and then file a complaint with the tire manufacturer. Not sure who can road force balance your tires but it is worth the small extra dollars. All four for me was 74.00 bucks.
