Rather than replace the wheels, which the dealer will gladly do - OUCH! - I'm having a local wheel repair shop have a go at straightening the wheels first. I'll let you know how it goes, and if it works it might be worth considering in your case - and it's a lot less expensive than replacing two 172's. Worst case scenario, I'm out a couple hundred bucks and still have to replace the wheels - although I'll probably go aftermarket all-round as it's cheaper than just the two rear wheels!
Wpg550 - please do report back on how things turn out for you. I'm considering replacing / repairing my wheels as well. Thanks!

I have conti DW summer on right now and considering DWS all seasons but would like to know if there is much difference noticeable in handling and performance between this two before putting them on?

Check your control arm bushings...I had the same issue between 60-70mph. Replaced the control arms and bushings and good as new!

Update - received my newly straightened rear wheels back last Thursday but didn't get a chance to put them on the car until the weekend. Once they were on, the vibration at various speeds was gone -- now I just have to deal with a vibration while braking (rotors have been replaced twice in last two months for being "warped"), but that's another topic for another day .

PS - Huge kudos to Joe at Kwiksilver Mobile Wheel Repair here in Calgary - great work, fast and inexpensive!
