Here is what I had from your list (2 cars):

4. Door seal creaks like a wooden ship. (New door seals)
5. Tire roar and uneven wear (replaced for free)
11. Engine hesitation when starting in cold days (Vanos intermediate valve replacement)
12. SMG transmission slaming on stop-and-go traffic (CIP 16.1 fixed this)
14. Active steering failure warning (DIDN'T fix itself after restarting)
15. Auto Head-Light inconsistency. Won't come on in raining days, but won't shut off on sunny days (no fix).
16. Bad AC smell after turning it off (The dealer sprayed some chemical and it was OK for 2 weeks) I think a lot of cars do that, so I accepted it.

Other than that, I am enjoying my car

You like your E60?? Right?
Absolutely.
The majority of the problems were minor, the bigger ones were fixed in just days from when I first noticed them.
No regrets, would buy it again.

Well you can thank us for beta-testing for you... Most of the problems have been ironed out now!

Do list all problems you've had. We need to know which problem occurs more often This way, people who are looking to get an E60 can dip in knowing ahead of time; Other current owners can relate to this list and identify if they need any repairs. As you know, dealer will always claim any complaints to be normal until you prove to them that there are repairs to this complaint.

What about the one that can't be fixed, when you open the back doors in wet old England, you get a nice puddle on the seats!!

Seems that I'm very lucky...

1.5 years, 45,000Km, the only problem I had was the anti trap problem in the driver door. Window engine replaced under warranty.

Regarding the pebbles noise in the windshield, does it occur after raining? I detected that drops of water remain at the right of the windshield (passenger side) between the glass and the "protection" of the pillar (sorry, my english vocabulary is not good enough). These drops vibrate at some speed range (80-130Km/h) and make a noise quite similar to small pebbles hitting the windshield.

This only occurs in the right side of the car, I don't know why.

Do you guys have the same issue?

I am very lucky too, only really the window anti trap motor thing has been a problem. A few other things were done at the service anyway. So a perfect car really, done 40.000 miles now and still going strong.
