My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.

Found this pdf on German motor-talk forum.

Translation:

maximumbeschleunigung = max acceleration
geschwindigkeit = speed
zeit = time
optimalen schaltpunkten = optimal shifting moment

The differences are very thight i noticed. In real world driving i noticed that the 530i feels a lot slower than my 535d. Probably has to do with the torque.

The red line is the new version 530i with 258hp. When you look at the brown line (the 530i with 231hp) you will see the differences are a tad bigger.

Besides, that car is manual and 99% will order an automatic on such a car so that will cost the 530i some time.

Hey thats cool!!! WOW the new 530 engine is going to be a blast! Now I wish someone will add the 545 in there so we can compare...

my previous car was 525d SE and one of the most noticable thinks were when cornering i had to hold back.as the rear end tended to slide, but my new car doesn't. This is obviously down to the M5 suspension so in the real world driving is not just about power but also handling.

For statisctics and diagram fans.

Here is something Autobild did: they tested the 530d chipped with different chips from ACS, Breyton and G-power.
