Somewhat on-topic, has anyone tried both versions of the comfort seat headrests? I think it was late 08 or early 09 that they changed from the headrest with "wings" on the lower portion that adjust out to cradle your neck/ lower head. They then went with the version where the entire headrest sides fold-in.

Same here. I like that I can have them fully "flexed" and still look back to check my blind spot. Was wondering if the headrest that the entire thing flexes still allows this?

What do you mean by "lower"? I have only seen 08 e60/61 with the wings being taller. I have seen the lower skinny wings on M cars like M5 or 6.

looks like i will be swapping my "later" full wing headrests sometime for the more comfortable looking mini wing version
