Does anyone know if you can program comfort access to lock by itself when you leave the car? Is it even possible? The only way I have been able to lock the car is by hitting the button on the remote... there has to be a way to program it that when you leave the vicinity the car locks itself.

No, you have to touch the area right beside the key hole... to the left of the hole and it will lock. I usually give it a good touch and walk away and it will beep and lock as I walk away. To open, just insert you hand into the handle and it will unlock. It will not lock as you walk away.

The "Relock" timer in the idrive has nothing to do with Comfort Access.
It is there to relock your car if you unlock it, but do not open a door. In this case, the car can relock itself since it knows the key is still outside (because you unlocked it, but never opened a door)
