I have the black saphire with auburn, and I love it. I would recommend seeing the auburn in person before ordering, however, becasue it is different from how it appears both online and in the catalog.

As far as I am aware sapphire black is not available in the UK on the sport models. Carbon black is a very dark ink like navy blue under strong sunlight.
I have auburn with sapphire on my current SE and having parked it next to a carbon black sport I wouldn't recommend carbon with auburn. It's all personal choice though.
Jet black, silver grey or titanium would all go well with the auburn.
