I need the colour code for my ride. The dealer has to paint my M rear spoiler and he needs the code. It's more easy to simply tell him then let him do the research. I tohught that it's also inserted in the key. Anyway i was in a hurry and couldn't stay too much too look for it. I know it's somewhere under the bonnet but it seems i can't spot it.
Can anyone point me to where i can find the colour code for my car?A pic maybe?

There is a tag in the engine compartment along the right side (looking out from the car). The tag should name the color and a 3-digit code:

Can u point me more directly to where the tag is located? Is it a black tag?
Bummer...all the other codes and no carbon black....

PaintScratch.com lists the color code for Carbon Schwarz as 416.
