Default Coding ?

For the ones that know how to code, after coding does it take the night to actually take effect? Every time I code a replacement module it doesn't take the changes until after it sits over night. I can let it sit for a couple hours to let it go to sleep or pull the battery but it doesn't make a difference the changes don't take until it the next day.

Depends on what you are doing. Some happened immediately(DRL settings), some I had to pull the key out and lock/unlock the car for it to take effect(exterior ambient lighting) and with other BMWs Ive seen it take longer(CCC-CIC adjustments+settings),

Some modules are big and I can see it needed to do some self checks and cycles before it switches.

Ok. Well I think I have more coding to do. I changed my SZL coded and reset it but now getting the airbag and seatbelt light. I think now I have to restart the time on some modules. I'll see once I pull INPA up and check all of them. This DIY has become very cumbersome.

So to anyone changing a module connected to the airbag system it's not as simple as coding the new to you module. There's a lot of steps. Even after the many steps I've taken to get the SZL working correctly.

I managed to reset the time. It was easy and just a couple of steps in tool32. Everything works as normal. Now to figure out this light issue. I'm just thinking I just need a new AHL module to fix it but I'm too cheap so it will probably stay broken. As long as the lights work I really don't care about to adaptive lighting
