Hi,
Basically the car will only charge my battery to 90ah, as it won't see that its actually a 110ah battery.
The module that holds the battery config is the CAS and LMA modules which are coded as shown above, is there another module that needs coding to get the car to see the new 110ah battery?
Has anyone successfully managed this using the tools listed above??
Thanks,
Mark

The CAS monitors and controls power flo and should the first that is coded, to be honest you should re-code the whole car to be sure.

hmmm think your missing some thing here, the CAS and LMA hold the VO (FA list). the LMA is the light module and has nothing to with batter charging. When you updated the FA list did you actually code any of the modules with the expert profile?

Yes i updated the FA list on the CAS and LMA (as it had the FA code as well), using the expert profile (to allow writing config
I then changed (coded) the battery config on the CAS and LMA as shown above.
KLASSE_BATTERIE 110ah
Am i missing something, and what exactly do you mean by code the entire car?

One function is not the best way to do it.

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies, but I have finally got it registered and its now showing as having a 110ah battery installed
The fix was to read the CAS manually after generating the trace file TWICE, once I done Read ECU twice and then coded the CAS it worked???
Don't know how are why it needed to read twice, but at lease it now shows the 110ah batter installed!

Glad you sorted it, didn't need to read it twice. Some thing to remeber if you decide to make changes to your FA list, always do a full re-code or code the modules if you know which ones will be affected with the expert profile.
