Im just wondering if my manual gear 545i is normal. It has this rattling sound (knocking) on initial engaging of the clutch, or when the clutch is disengaged. Just wondering?

Initially, I didn't think this was normal. I started the following thread to discuss this situation:

Based on that, I think it is normal.

I asked my dealer during a service visit last year and he told me it was normal.
