So while driving today and stopped at the light my left foot happened to tap the dashboard underside covers. After a few blocks I felt something land on my pant leg and figure I must've knocked a small cover off (perhaps the OBDII cover). When I finally parked I discovered it was a SPRING!!!! Looking in real OEM DB it appears to resemble the clutch lever return spring. I haven't noticed any difference in the clutch pedal force or return to neutral position.

Since it still works and I am able to drive I was thinking of taking it to a shop when I have some time vs doing it right now and dropping everything.

Question to everyone is - if indeed this is the spring that fell out how critical is it to the operation of the car? Am I risking serious damage by continuing to drive?

Thanks!
