Okay so I really don't know what the hell I should've called this... Anyways

When I press the bc button on the indicator stalk nothing happens it won't cycle through the fuel range info or the digital speedo at the moment there is nothing being displayed just the state of the gearbox...i ran a diagnosis with ICarly and
I got a 00A557 error but have read somewhere that it should be ignored if anyone has any suggestions greatly appreciated

have you reset your system. Unplug the negative cable for 20 mins. You can start there at least. Did this just happen? What year, model and mileage do you have

Thanks for the reply sorry for the late response
Ill have to do that when I get home tonight
The car is a 04 525i got about 82000 miles on it
This actually happened after I got it back from the dealer for a service and that so don't know what went wrong
Will get back to you with the results thanks again
