Somewhere in the forum I also read that it is posible to have your dealer activate a function where you can close the folding mirrors as you press and hold the lock button, anyone with more info on this?
by the way, here in mexico you can also close the windows with the remote, bassically our cars come with german specs (ex. no trunk button and no flashlight)

Silly laws are everywhere. I live in Frankfurt, Germany which is the state of Hessen. In Hessen we still have the death penalty in our constitution. but since in the German constitution the death penalty was repealed, the death penalty in Hessen can't be enforced anymore, since German laws break state laws...
I'm sure you'll find BS like that anywhere in the world...

Actually, that is a bit bold, let me elaborate.
It is my humble opinion that there is a large quotum of individuals in your lovely country that seems to have issues with responsibility. In order to make their lives more bearable, and that of those sharing their society, certain laws were made. It is only because certain societies lack these laws that you notice (the sillyness).
