His car is a 545 2004. I don't think that he has an electric water pump. I know that my 2005 545 has a belt driven pump.

My 05 also is a belt drive pump but I do bleed mine the same way. I know I'm not going crazy with how I bleed mine. It could be I work on too many and getting it mixed up but I'm almost positive I bleed my car with the same steps

I think that the confusion comes from the fact that the video refers to an electric pump and the OP doesn't have such a pump, therefore he can't follow the procedure.

I stand corrected. Your pump is not like mine. My production date was 12/04 so I guess they changed them for my year.

cool now that we have established that my pump is belt driven i guess i ketp repeating the same proceedure as ive done. Last tim i literally waited until water was bubbling out of the expansion tank b4 i closed off 🤔
