ok long overdue change over done
all three replced
Heater xchange valve
Water pump
Themo
I now have heat its not to bad fiddle with the heating knobs it cools but its giving me heat. The system as i know sdlf bleads leaving the cap off so apart from relacing heating controls what else is there to do

Couldn't really understand what you were saying. Are you saying you changed those parts and afterwards you did a self bleed or did you let the car do the bleed by triggering it?

After you did the bleed you're only getting heat and no a/c. If so redo the bleed procedure and make sure your exchange is hooked up correctly and working.

a/c all good im getting heat aswell but sometimes i dont on idle sometimes i do wierd but heat is ok on normal driving. I blead the system with cap open engine running for at least 20mins or so

No you need to perform the bleed procedure to get all the air pockets out. That is why you're not getting heat while idle

ok is there another way apart from leaving the cap off and squeezing a few pipes??

I stand to be corrected but im not sure the pump on my car is an electric one it has a sensor connected to it that is the only wiring attached to the pump nothing else???

You should have the same pump I have. Just follow the instructions lift the hood to hear it working.
