Hi. I upgraded myself 2 days ago. I upgraded from the march release --> CIP 23.2 release.
The reason for me to upgrade was the everlasting hope that my "Californian Stop" would go away. My steptronic transmission is somewhat jumpy from time to time.
Anyway. I cant see anything different besides that the car finally can find my Nokia N80. The old software couldnt..
just my 2 cents

I just had the CIP 23.02 upgrade performed on Nov. 13 to eliminate the "slam" effect with the transmission. This upgrade appears to have fixed the problem or atleast it hasn't done it again yet.
This upgrade appears to have taken away the "eyebrow" lights. The 5 LED lights and the other light on the eyebrow above the headlights. Called the service department and they were aware of this. Supposedly the next version of the CIP 24.xx available in March 2007 will correct this issue. Frustrating that I had to call the service department and that they didn't tell me that this was going to happen.
I have also noticed that the "accept" for the i-drive does it on it's own. I have PDC and once that screen goes away, it automatically goes past the accept and the menu screen shows. The service department tells me this was part of CIP 23.02. Has anyone else experienced this and is it true that it's suppose to do this?

Here are some pics of the new setup. Also heated seats and heated steering wheel stays on when car is restarted shortly after shutting down. Sorry for the poor quality:
1. Info screen, new set-up list
2. Asks for Zip COde in Nav.
3. Again additional Info screen settings
4. Rewording for Auto-Climate.
Im sure there are more differences, but this is off the top of my head.
