Took my chipped 535d onto the track yesterday (East Fortune, near Edinburgh). Being the only diesel, and the heaviest car there, I think it did pretty well!

Tell me more about your tuning set up - I am in Hampshire, and saw a company at Thruxton called West Tuning who will do the same for ?1000ish all in.
What are the problems/dangers etc?? How is the gearbox coping? What about the warranty?!

No seriously, it was an open pit lane session, not a race. Strictly enforced rules means it was enjoyable for all vehicles - including a Citreon 2CV!

[/quote]Nope, I think you're talking about the camera - some part of it shakes and I cant seem to stop it. The camera itself is mounted securely in the car, so its the camera itself that's making the noise :'(

Gearbox seems to be coping OK - obviously time will tell. Over 10,000 miles with the box fitted though. As mentioned above, I would *guess* warranty will at least be void on all engine and fuel components if you're caught - the key is not getting caught!
Well recommended, but do tell your insurer!
