OK, I have child #3 on the way in late January. I have had 3 car seats in my car on 1 prior occasion, so I know it can be done and I do not need to trade my e60 in That being said, does anyone have any practical experience with that scenario, and/or have any recommendations on what brand/model car seats will fit best? I will have one infant, one 2 year-old and a 4 year-old that is just about to transition to a booster seat.

Not quite as exciting a discussion as CIP updates, but any advice is still appreciated

The booster seat takes up a lot less room that the infant seat. There are intermediate seats that are between the infant and booster, your 2 yr old needs to be at least 30 lbs, which are sized in between the two.
You should place the infant in the middle both for safety and to separate the 2 and 4 yr old, both of which will start fighting over who gets to sit next to the newborn.

Depending on height and weight you're 4yo may be able to fit into some booster seats. Height is one of the more important factors. There used to be a booster from Britax that has a width adjustable base that was awesome. For infant and forward facing child seats I wouldn't look any further than Britax. They're a little expensive but they're great.
