who really cares, if that's what the owner wants let him do it. perhaps he/she is a member of the board and see that people are snapping pictures of his/her car and posting it online as well as making fun of it. I could laugh at half the cars here and you could probably laugh at me too............and then we went to college. You can't expect others do be just like you. But I guess to own a BMW you HAVE to be a certain way?

You took the words right out of my mouth. BTW guys, if you're really that offended by ///M badges on non ///M cars, I suggest you never ever go to the BMW dealer. I just left there and I think I saw more ///M badges on the regular cars than I did on the actual M cars. So I guess we should include BMW AG in this complaint also....
My 550i came with the ///M on the wheels (172's) and on my manual shift knob so i guess i can put one on my trunk LOL

That would be because it has the M-sport pkg, completely different thing than what is being discussed. Applying (as a mod or add-on) an M badge is simply posing. Save the M badges for the cars that deserve them, the M and M-sport cars, there is no need to waste time and money being something you're not. These owners drive BMW's already, is it really necessary to pretend to drive a more premium model? Just be happy with what you have, most people don't even get the chance to have that.
I was only kidding, i love my 550 the way it is. I wouldnt mind removing my badges so i can have a sleeper
