who really cares, if that's what the owner wants let him do it. perhaps he/she is a member of the board and see that people are snapping pictures of his/her car and posting it online as well as making fun of it. I could laugh at half the cars here and you could probably laugh at me too............and then we went to college. You can't expect others do be just like you. But I guess to own a BMW you HAVE to be a certain way?

If you were referring to age i'm probably the same age or younger than you lol ...and I'm quite relaxed. I just see the bigger picture here and I like to point things out when given the opportunity.
I disagreed with your decision on a car cover but I didn't make fun of you right? When i drive by and see your car cover, you can be sure I won't take a pic of it and post it up here to rally the sheep that will agree with me disagreeing with your decision.

I agree with Crypto, there's no malice in the thread. That gent still appreciates his e60, takes good care of it, and loves it just as much as we love all of our cars - everyone appreciates that.
Just different tastes for different people. I dont see a big deal w/the badge, and dont much care regardless -whatever floats his boat.

I don't really care either way what people do to their car. I just don't get the whole putting an M badge on, when it's not an M. Fail to see the point. I get putting M5 rep bumpers/side skirts on (hell, did it myself), as it makes the car look better, imo. But I have to agree with Achtung.....do what you want to your car. I couldn't care less. I think its a bit dumb to face-palm this guy just because he has an M badge on his non-M car....all in all, really not a big deal that he does.
