Hi guys, I know there could be several reasons for this light, but it doesn't show up on i-drive as an error. I was scheduled for service tomorrow but the light went off? Second time this has happened in the last 6 months. It seems to go ON when the weather is hot and goes OFF when the weather cools down - Anybody know what this could be?

Not sure why your light is going on, however, your dealer should be able to find the cause stored in your computer. Just because it goes off doesnt mean the stored reason goes away. I had issues with check engine lights for 6 months. Had the car at the dealer three times after they had replaced an exhaust sensor, and a thermostat. The third time it came up as another bad thermostat and they ended up replacing the entire engine wiring harness. Never any Idrive errors in my case either. I guess that happened to several cars at my dealership. Good Luck.
