I need to replace the bulb on my daytime angel eye left side on my 2008 528i
how do you get to it? took the top 2 screws but did not get the assembly out
Don't want to take it to the shop for a light bulb
anyone knows how to get the left side out
picture would be great

you do not need to remove the headlight. Just remove black plastic cover toward the center of the car and there you should find H8 halogen bulb. If your car is still under warranty, take it to your SA, he will do it in few minutes. It is covered by BMW.

+1 Might be more than a bulb! Seems premature for that one to fail.

If you have xenons, replacing the angel eye bulb on the left side is a snap. Loosen the four screws that secure the headlight assembly. That will give you enough wiggle room to move the assembly out just a bit. Then you will have enough room to pull the angel eye bulb (which is a halogen bulb) and replace it.
Nomis (above) is correct. Actually it is common for these to "expire".
