Thank you all the great feedback! You don't such detail at any dealer lol!!

I don't know how ppl with non-M5 managing these 166 wheels, they very easy to get bent. Each Wheel is $430 from Garry + associated costs w/ mounting & balance.

One thing I am still not clear.. these Tire-sizes for 166 wheels on a non-M5, ppl w/ Sport or Non-Sport suspension still get the same tire-size right?
I think you should go to 15's on your E60. That's the perfect ride and look you're going for.

Jeez, this thread all of sudden turned to a bashing thread smaller vs bigger wheels lol..

I was just mentioning the differences.. I can't stand the 17" 138 look, its temporary, till I get the bent rim fixed lol..

I somehow am more confident to drive through potholes with these 17", where as w/ 166 when I hit potholes I CURSE big time for NJDOT for shitty roads and fear rim might have been bent already.. LOL!!

Naw, smaller wheels are ok. I'm on 17" BBS (in the pic) and they are very comfy.

(Even after getting 166s, I still plan to keep my 17" BBS for family trips though)
