Today I swapped my 166 + UHP to 138 17" stocks wheels+tires.
I noticed it is very quiet and very smooth compared to 19" 166 ride.. LoL..
Are any advantages of 19" wheels except for looks? They seem to reduce the comfort, make more noise, and feel the potholes more.
May be 166 w/ more rubber would make it close to 17" ride.

Plenty, Some include better performance, better handling, and more feedback.

I noticed 138 17" tire is 225x50 on all sides.. it's not different like 166 wheels, where front is different than rear.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that just throwing bling wheels on your car gives you better handling/performance or feedback (feedback ? yah, if a jarring ride is feedback then you get lots more feedback). There is a reason that a company dedicated to utimate driving machines uses the wheel/tire/suspension combination that they do. If people were honest they would just say that bigger wheels look cooler and that would be true.

Yah that's what I thought.. the 19"/20/21" are just for blings, but no any other benefits.
The reason I had to change these 19"166 to 17" 138 is one of the 166 wheel got bent. I am afraid to drive these 19" in NJ, which has pot holes every where
I just wish you could use more rubber on these 19" 166, so they more comfy and avoid rim bents.
