I have seen a presentation of the new LCI 5 series where they said all new manual gearbox will be equipped with an indicator letting you know when it is best moment for changing your gear. This is one of the features of the Dynamic efficiency concept.

I tried to engage it by holding the BC button, but still no indicator. I tried to engage it several ways (held it down in neutral, in motion, for longer than 3 seconds, etc.) and nothing. I think the US cars don't have that function. Any other tricks to engaging it that I missed?
