Bit of a strange one this, when unlocking the car the indicator lights flash to confirm the car is unlocked. When locking the car the lights do not flash, I have changed the settings in the idrive and highlighted both options for confirmation when locking and unlocking yet the lights do not flash on locking!

I would prefer the car to confirm when locking. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Did you check both of the options, and then move the idrive up to exit that sub menu and then press the Menu to exit out for it to save in the settings. Or maybe your trunk or your hood were still open or something ?

 

Tried all ways, no doors opened or boot open. I have checked both options on the idrive.
