i was told that for 2005 the center dash will be available in wood or aluminium like the 6 series. but from this picture it doesnt look like it. just the lower part. shame really

It's correct as shown in the picture!

No wood/aluminium trim for the A/C and CD drive sections.

DAMN SERIOUS !

And NO, the parts from the 6series are different colours and they don't fit...

Allready had lots of discussions about that with BMW Munich, and they don't understand my frustration...

They have the lower part in all kind of trims, since it has to match the rest of the trim parts. On MY05 this is standard, so the have it for sure! Just no pricing for the part available yet, but in September... Can't wait...

its a shame that there is no wood around the ac controls and cd slots. it would have been really nice
