The wheels are very sharp but they will be a bear to keep clean. I am a fanatic for a clean car.

Jeff - I am still amazed at how great a car the 550 is. The new one seems to pull stronger although it has the same engine. I like the smaller, fatter steering wheel with the sport package. I am not so sure I wanted to pay for the aero kit that came with the sport pkg but it sure does look kewl. The wheels are very sharp but they will be a bear to keep clean. I am a fanatic for a clean car. The sport seats are really nice and I like the hug they give me when I start up the car. The SAT is very nice and I use it much more than I thought I would. I just installed a Blinder radar jammer and I will be posting pictures asap on the DIY pages. It was a very clean and nice install. I like the carbon black and can't wait for a nice spring day to clay and wax the car to bring out all of the hues in the paint. The first thing I noticed was the exhaust note which resonates power. Now if I could just sell my 06 550 I would be all set.

Sure Jeff - I have pics of the install and have to get them organized to post the installation. I got a Blinder M25. It has two heads that mount in the front bumper. It was one of the highest rated jammers amongst the common brands. There are others that seemed to perform better but they were either one-offs or in beta testing. In my last E60 I installed the ZR3 which performed flawlessly, had a better user interface, and rear protection for about the same price as the Blinder (just front protection). I can add the rear heads but they are very pricy. My interface in the car is just a simple toggle switch and LED which is very discrete. I added them next to the shifter. Let me know what you think.

I can't imagine why the changer would even be desirable at this point.

Very nice but can you please explain what it does exactly. Also, when do you turn it on?? I assume that because there is an on off switch you don;t use it all the time. Do they have a website??
Thanks,
Jeff

Felix - thanx for making me feel less like a dinosaur. I don't have the passion for endless hours of downloading, ripping, sorting and organizing my music, playlists, et cetera. Sometimes I just want to throw in a disc and jam to the tunes. I am glad I am not the only one.
