Default CCC FSC code is this possible

Hi

I recently retrofitted a CCC pro nav in place of the business unit in my 2006 pre LCI E60 - the donor unit came from a 2005 car although secondhand it has never had voice control activated (the VIN number options check on ETK does not list $620 as a fitted option and as it came with the original wiring plugs I can clearly see that no microphones were in the wiring)

Now I know that normally a secondhand unit cannot have a new FSC code applied to it but as this has never had it in the first place if I buy the code from BMW will it work ?

I have a price on the code from a stealer @£400 but would be an expensive exercise if it could not be programmed. Obviously the stealer will not offer any refund if it doesnt work.

Any advice appreciated

It is possible but not cost effective from what I have been reading. Also, I have yet to find anyone who has done it. You have to get the FSC code then load to the CCC, I have no idea how this is done but the dealer can provide the code.
