It seems that we 5 series owners like our cars more than other owners like theirs. The e60 is number one in its class, over Mercedes E class and Audi A6.

Just think a few years ago people didn't know what to think of the Bangle design. Many E39 owners are still shaking there head.

I have my brother-in-law coming to e60 soon from e39 (as soon as we sell his car) :-)
People have learned to love the shape.

I fell in love with Bangle's design when the new 7 series came out in 2K2. And how can the FJ Cruiser be ranked #1 as Compact SUV. I assume even the Murano with beat that and they are both ugly. FJ Cruiser is the type of car you pick up at TRU(Toy's R Us).

believe it or not, bangle design has evolved into toyota, mb lineup.
as much i did not like it, it has stood the test of time.

fj is ugly, but i wouldn't mind one.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a FJ Cruiser IMHO. Asians know what FJs stand for . I think bangle's design evolved much more than just Toyota/Benz. Many cars these days like the new Honda Accord tries to jock the BMW headlight designs.

The Toyota has heritage and a retro look.
