Personally, I like Orient over Carbon black. My neighbour had a CB 540 sport that never really looked (to me) as sleek/clean as a normal black does. It just seemed slighly dusty even after he washed it. I love the Orient blue on my 330i, people who see it at night, and then see it again the next day usually say "wasn't your car black?!" hehehe

interesting you said that Orient Blue with sport package is not available. I just orderd one and it's awaiting shipment. Is this a geography limitation?

I currently have a jet black 545i. I used to have a metallic black Audi. I can tell you for sure that metallic black is a better dirt color than jet black. Metallic hides the swirl marks and fingerprints better. Jet black is the most godawful dirt color I've ever had to deal with.
That said, IMO the jet black looks better than any color I've seen when it is clean. It's darker than the metallic black, and when really clean, looks deeper and more liquid. But what a pain in the butt.
I'll probably choose jet black for my E60 M5 next year. Sigh...

wolverine, tks vm for ur opinion, fully agree with it except that I want some shade of Grey/Silver for my next car. But I wonder how Carbon compares to other black colours as I have not seen it as yet (or maybe seen but never reckognized).
