What kind of noises does Carbaflo eliminate? Is it always clear that they arise from the felt/doorframe contact? Has it turned out to be an effective and permanent solution?

The noise appears to be a rattle inside the door. Like a creak or a loose wire. It turns out that that is not the case. I was very surprised that it was eliminated by Carbafloing the felt seals.

Henry,

I was one of the 'lucky ones' with the squeaky door frames.... the Carbaflo option worked perfectly for me...
There is a posting on this too. The whole process includes using a silicon remover agent on the felt part of all the doors, letting it dry, then applying the Carbaflo. No squeaks for months! (Carbaflo is a permanent, military grade lubricant, thats why one little bottle is worth $65)
Both agents are available at the dealer parts dept., or as a warranty request. Bank about three visits for the dealer to get it right...

cheers!
