Car wont start....is the key or the starter...
Hello All,
I got to work and parked in the garage only to go out to leave and my car wont start.
I just got the car on Tuesday....any good bmw repairmen in MD??
After AAA sent 3 drivers, I had it towed to BMW of Alexandria...should I be worried??

It depends. My buddy just had the starter replaced on his 535 and it was $1200 at the dealer. His car was also not starting. But the problem was on/off for a few weeks before it finally gave in.

My Ride: E60 2006 sedan auto
It could have been causing trouble for a while before you bought it seeing you only got it last Tuesday.
I replaced the starter in my friends E60 about a year ago. He had been driving it with no problems and then suddenly at my house it stopped.
Welcome to BMWs! You will either be paying mechanics often or you should learn very quickly how to fix it yourself.
