My Ride: BMW 525d on an '04 plate

I now have my car, I got the VIN number and asked the dealer to fax over the 'Ordered options' sheet, looking through there are a few that I'm confused on:

01CA - CoP Relative
0698 - Area Code 2 for DVD
08SA - Country-Specific Navigation activation
08SB - Country-Specific Telematic activation
08SC - Country-Specific TeleService activation
08SP - Req'd for 1CA
0812 - GB Specification

I don't have Sat-nav or a DVD player..... so what does this mean? Could a retrofit be possible?

well uk/japan dvds are region code 2 so i would supsect thats for the dvd player but that dont mean it can play dvds though

That's what confuses me how do you encode a DVD player to region 2 when there is no DVD player??

Its a guess - but the region code in this case may have something to do with the languages on the NAV DVD.

When I lived in Germany I had a Euopean NAV DVD but the only language was english (I'm prettysure there weren't any others). Obviously there would be disks in German and other languages - but I was never able to try one of these on my car.
