Hey guys, I need suggestions before I dump money on something that isn't. My car makes a crazy cracking sound on low speed turns to the left mainly. Noise comes from drivers side mostly. My Warranty won't cover any repair because I " modified my suspension and wheels. Fuckers.
My mechanic said its the rack and pinion but I think he just wanted to juice the company for labor. Now Im stuck with no repair and a broken car. It is a 2006 530xi with 95k .
Control arms, and bushings replaced already.

What do you guys think?

jack it up and inspect. make sure you the control arm bolts are tight.

mine was making a annoying noise from the firerwall area. popping and creaking. tighten the strut brace. on the firewall. that was my issue this time around

Sounds to me like active sway bar binding. There have been a few threads on that lately. Happened on my car too.
