I JUST discovered another key mark that is 4 inches long on the hood and very deep to the point the bare metal is showing.

Same thing happened to me almost 2 months ago. I was in class for no more than 90 minutes, and when I came out to my car to go home, there was a giant key mark. The f*cker started just above the front fender and didn't stop until the very edge of the drivers side passenger door. I almost cried. I could feel the metal shavings as I ran my finger across it. It's definitely no easy fix.
Depending on how bad it is, I'd suggest getting some quotes from local body shops and comparing them to what your insurance would charge you.

My Ride: 545 2005 Model. Full spec so happy with as is.(for the moment!)
I do sympathise with owners cars getting vandalised. I have just had my 545 reversed into at tme front and the tail pipe has pushed in the front valance..... Could be an accident !! £1000 repair..............
waste of total money. On the bright side I saw 2 gorgeous M5's and met a famous tennis player.
