See if the paint will buff out, then you can do PDR on it and maybe you won't have to repaint. Definitely don't want any panels painted without the need for it. Original paint is always better, especially when you ready to sell the car.
Mirror will definitely have to be replaced.

awww that sucks, sorry to hear that. I would think of the positive side, "mod time" or free detail for entire car. Make sure you take it to the dealer for body work recommendations no cheap body shops.

Really doesn't look too bad, I'm honestly suprised it wasn't way worse. It was my first wreck involving another car. I think alot of the stuff is tire with some sratches. How much do m5 mirrors usually cost? I found some replicas for $650 shipped.

No police report? Hope he doesn't claim you hit him! Any witnesses? Maybe you should go ahead and alert your insurance co. There's some bases they'll want to cover, especially since there's no police report to back up the claim. Good luck.
+1 Should always call the police to a scene no matter how small.
The Police act as a witness to the scene if there are no witnesses.

My GF got hit by a truck about a month ago, no big deal just some scraps they didnt call the
police, just traded insurance. His fault, but he called the insurance company and claimed she hit him
and that he was having back pain. Insurance sided with her though luckily. ALWAYS CALL THE POLICE!

Knock on wood, hopefully no next time. I would not get the $650.00 m5 replica mirrors for that price get the real thing instead.

sorry about the accident tex. and make sure you have his insurance pay for it; try not to make a claim with your insurance if possible.

regarding the police report, i believe you can still file one. you have "x" amount of days (i'm guessing 30?) to do so after the actual incident. check your yellow pages for the non-emergency police number for information regarding police report, i'm thinking the number is 311. g/l
