Can't Close My Ballast When Replacing New HID Bulb (D2S) - Need Advice
Hi Guys,
I was attempting to replace my oem HID D2S bulb last night and I can't "close" my ballast afterward.
You know that you have to "turn open" to take the ballast out and replace your bulb? I can't "turn close" and secure my ballast afterward.
I actually unplugged and took out my headlight for this job, so I think I have more than enough space to work with and have the correct placement for my new bulbs.
Anyone has experience this issue before? Is it okay if I drive without securing the ballast?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Also try unplugging the wire from the ballast as well before trying to close it back. I think plugging the wire in actually moves the plastic piece that stops the ballast from allowing the bulb to seat flush.
