I know there are links where BMW shows you how it works, but I was wondering if one of the members can post their nightvision in operation caught on video. I've been thinking of retrofitting one on my car, but some members tell me its not worth it.

BMW's web site used to have a great video clip of it working, showing a moose crossing the road, etc. Also, google on FLIR, go to their web site, they have a video as well (they made the original BMW vehicle systems, I've read somewhere the someone else is now).

I have the option and use it frequently. It helps to see at night on empty roads.
We live nearby a forrest where a lot of deers live and sometimes they cross the road. When I am nearby that spot I allways turn it on.

Some people told me, that this is a useless feature. Others say its amazing. My question to the guys who have it: When the system is on, do you see clearly whats ahead with a certrain degree of realism, or does the picture distort and flicker with 10 frames/second image? ...
This is why I wanted to see the system in operation from an actual user, not a commercial.
Thanks anyways,
~Andy
