Can the NEW (2008) E60 tail lights and head lights fit my 2005 530i?

First off

to the forum

A quick use of the upper right search bar will get you numerous threads regarding this retrofit.

Not sure about the headlights, but the tailights for sure can be done. Fellow member bruce_miranda can provide you with the necessary info also...

thanks a lot..i was more concerned about the tail lights anyways..but i would LOVE to get the headlights as well..

headlight not worth it, tail light is def. worth it.
my opinion is based on cost though.

I also have another question. I have the 2005 530i that i had just purchased and i was wondering why the Orange LED's on the side of my headlight dont light up while im driving. How do i turn them on??

They should turn on when you have your lights on, however there was a software version where these lights didnt come on. Maybe your car has that software version and if you complain to your dealer they will upgrade the car for free.
